Business aviation summer
feature showcase
We’ve just launched new enhancements to upgrade how your team plans and manages trips.
These features are designed to make flight planning and execution faster, smarter, and more precise.
Dynamic Procedures
A new and intuitive way to visualize and fly terminal approach procedures. Everything pilots need to fly an approach in one clean, interactive sidebar, making IFR operations more streamlined than ever. This feature must be enabled by an admin for use within your organization.
Dynamic Procedures will be accessible to the U.S., Canada, and Pacific Islands regions. Support for more regions will follow soon after. Stay tuned!
Alternates in Flight Binders
Alternates in Binders brings new flexibility and efficiency to flight preparation by allowing you to include charts for your alternates directly in the Flight Binder. Whether you're planning ahead or responding to changing conditions, you can quickly search for alternate-specific charts using powerful filters for runway, approach type, and chart source (FAA, Jeppesen, etc.).
To access the feature:
-
Send a flight to Plates
-
Select the flight in the Flight Binder
-
Use the “+ Alt” button to add charts for your departure and destination alternates
This makes it easier than ever to stay prepared when the workload is at its peak.
Lateral Weight & Balance
Helicopter pilots can now integrate W&B calculations into their flight planning in ForeFlight with support for independent lateral and longitudinal CG calculations. Pre-built W&B templates are available for the following models: H-145 D3, AW139/169/189, and S-92A, with more on the way.
You can manually configure W&B profiles from a blank template for any helicopter model with independently calculated lateral and longitudinal CG envelopes. Other models, such as the Robinson R44, with varying CG envelopes, are not currently supported for W&B.
You can create and use helicopter W&B profiles in the same way you do for fixed wing aircraft via both ForeFlight Mobile and ForeFlight Web. These profiles include additional fields for calculating lateral CG, including support for variable fuel moment tables along either axis, and provide both longitudinal and lateral envelope graphs.
Helicopter Procedures
Helicopter-specific procedures are integrated directly into the Procedure Advisor in ForeFlight Mobile when planning with a rotorcraft, allowing pilots to view and select relevant instrument departures and arrivals alongside fixed-wing options in a unified interface.
This seamless presentation streamlines flight planning, reduces manual chart searching, and enables operators to make informed routing decisions more quickly. By embedding helicopter procedures into the same tool pilots already use for procedure and route planning, this enhancement improves operational efficiency, enhances situational awareness, and supports safer, more confident operations.
Even more tools at your fingertips
Billing View
Easily view and export detailed renewal pricing per sub-organization to streamline cost allocation and client billing.
Sub-organization Smart Groups
Smart Groups can now be created and managed at the Sub-Org level, offering more granular user organization within distributed account structures. With this update, Sub-Org Admins gain the flexibility to define their own Smart Groups—such as grouping pilots by aircraft tail, base, or mission profile—without relying on parent org admins.
